DO
NOT
use
the
battery
in
strong
electrostatic
or
electromagnetic
environments. Otherwise, the battery control board may malfunction and cause •
a serious accident during
use.
6.
Never disassemble or pierce the battery
in
any
way,
or the battery could leak,
catch fire, or explode.
7.
Electrolytes in the battery are highly corrosive. If any electrolytes make contact
with your eyes or skin, immediately wash the affected area with clean running
water for at least 15 minutes. See a doctor immediately.
8.
DO NOT use the battery again if it was involved in a crash
of
any kind or heavy
impact.
9.
If the battery falls into water with the device during use, take
it
out immediately
and place it in a safe and open area. DO NOT use the battery again. Dispose
of the battery properly as described in the Battery Disposal section below. DO
NOT heat the battery. Put out any battery fire using sand or a dry powder fire
extinguisher.

DO NOT place the battery in a microwave oven or in a pressurized container.

DO NOT place loose battery cells on any conductive surface, such as a
metal table.
12. DO NOT put the loose cells
in
a pocket, bag or drawer, where they may short-
circuit against other items, or where the battery terminals could be pressed
against each other.
13. DO NOT drop or strike the battery. Do NOT place heavy objects on the
battery or charger.
14. Always clean the battery terminals with a clean, dry cloth. This will avoid the
risk of connection failure.
Charging
the
Intelligent Battery
1.
Never attach the batteries to wall sockets or
car
charger outlets directly.
Always use a
OJI
approved adapter.
OJI
is not responsible or liable, directly or
indirectly, for damages caused if the battery has been charged using a non-OJI
charger.
2.
DO NOT charge the battery near flammable materials, objects or on flammable
surfaces such as carpet or wood. Never leave the battery unattended during
charging.

DO
NOT
charge the
battery
immediately after use;
battery
temperature
may be too high. Instead, allow the battery to cool down close to room
temperature before charging again The ideal charging temperature range
is from 59°F (15°C) to 104°F (40°C). It will take longer to charge the battery
when the temperature is below 59°F (15°C), for the consideration
of
safety
and battery service life.
4.
Disconnect the charger when not in use. Examine the charger regularly for
damage to the cord, plug, enclosure, or other parts.
DO
NOT clean the charger
with denatured alcohol or other flammable solvents. Never use a damaged
charger.
Battery Storage
1. Keep
the
battery out of reach
of
children and pets.
DO
NOT leave the battery
near heat sources such as furnaces or heaters.
2.
DO NOT leave the battery inside a vehicle on hot days. The ideal storage
temperature is 72°F (22°C) to 86°F (30°C).
3.
Always keep the battery
dry.
Never drop the battery into water.
