Quad Loop Hydraulic System

With the introduction of the X model line of mow-

ers in 1989, Dixie Chopper brought the hydraulic

“ﬂ ush and cool” loop to lawn and garden equip-

ment. This process, now known as “Quad Loop”, is

normally associated with applications of 100 horse-

power or more. You won’t ﬁ nd the “Quad Loop”

on look-a-likes. The Dixie Chopper drive train uti-

lizes two hydraulic pumps and two hydraulic mo-

tors, eliminating all chains, sprockets, gear cases,

and other mechanical reduction devices. When

the machine is at work, the “Quad Loop” system

constantly ﬂ ushes and replaces the high pres-

sure oil with cool, ﬁ ltered oil at the rate of .5 gpm,

giving twice the life of other hydraulic systems.

Turbo Pre-Cleaner

The Turbo Pre-Cleaner needs no elaborate plumb-

ing or adapters to draw air from an air cleaner en-

vironment. The Turbo Pre-Cleaner will eject 98%

of the contaminants and not let them enter the

engine’s air stream. When your engine is work-

ing, contaminants enter the air ﬁ ltration system

and cause a restriction. This restriction causes

the engine to progressively lose horsepower un-

til it can no longer function. With the Turbo Pre-

Cleaner, the majority of contaminants are kept

from ever entering the airstream, thus the horse-

power remains higher, longer. When dirt is kept out

of the ﬁ lter system, fuel burns cleaner with fewer

exhaust contaminants entering the atmosphere.
