Dixie Chopper President Art Evans says

the decision to use Lucas Oil products in all

Dixie Chopper mowers was an easy one.

“We reviewed test results from two of our hydrau-

lic pump suppliers,” Evans said, “and during the

test, Lucas Oil showed a substantial drop in the

operating temperature of 10 degrees. Not only did

the operating temperature drop, but the time taken

to reach peak operating temperature was doubled.”

The time taken to reach peak operating tem-

perature went from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.

Lucas Oil was created by Forrest Lucas who

began tinkering with motor oil while running his

small trucking ﬁ rm in the late 1980s. Altering

the way it is mixed, he hit on a formula that pro-

duced better results than the best-known brands.

“I had heard about Lucas Oil several years ago,”

Evans explained. “I tried it a few times in some

of my personal equipment, and was amazed at the

performance and the durability of the lubricants.

Being an ex-drag racer, I understand the impor-

the manufacturer says it will do. I personally own

a van that has over 300,000 miles on it and it has
