1. Description
This manual applies to the HNR-P116 network video recorder.
The HNR-P116 network video recorder supports up to 16 network cameras. It can record more than
100 hours of high quality Full HD images onto its maximum capacity of hard disk drives, which are
configured with high redundancy through a variety of RAID implementations.
The HNR-P116 is extremely straightforward to install and setup, as it detects network cameras and
defines the parameters of each through a dedicated configuration wizard. You can start monitoring
instantly, as the images are automatically assigned to a layout menu.
The Network Camera is fully featured for security surveillance and remote monitoring needs. It is
based on an embedded linux and high performance, and makes it available on the network as real-
time, full frame rate Motion JPEG and H.264 (or MPEG-4) video streams.
The alarm input and alarm output can be used to connect various third party devices, such as, door
sensors and alarm bells.
