5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spill and Leak Procedures Emergency Action: Isolate spill or leak area immediately. Keep unauthorized
personnel away. Stay upwind.
Spill Cleanup: Ventilate closed spaces before entering. Floor will be slippery. Do not touch or walk
through spilled material. Stop leak if you can do it without risk. A vapor suppressing foam may be used to
reduce vapors. Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or conned areas. Absorb or cover with
dry earth, sand or other non- combustible material and transfer to containers.
Large Spills: Dike far ahead of liquid spill for later disposal.
7. HANDLING & STORAGE HANDLING PROCEDURES
Pesticide Storage: Open dumping is prohibited. Store only in original container. Do not reuse empty
container. If a leaky container must be contained within another, mark the outer container to identify the
contents. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use good personal hygiene practices. Wash hands before
eating, drinking, smoking, or using toilet facilities. Wash thoroughly after work using soap and water.
Storage Procedures: Keep the container tightly closed and in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep from
freezing. Store pesticides away from food, pet food, feed, seed, fertilizers, and veterinary supplies. Keep
this product under locked storage sufcient to make it inaccessible to children or persons unfamiliar with
its proper use.
