11. Cold start button To help start cold engine, turn
ignition switch to first position.
Press cold start button as
directed in notes.
Release button, then turn
ignition switch clockwise to
start.
IMPORTANT: Press cold start button
according to temperatures below.
• If ambient temperature is below
40°F (4°C), press and hold button
for five seconds.
• If ambient temperature is below
20°F (-7°C), press and hold
button for ten seconds.
• Do not press for more than 20
seconds continuously.
12. Throttle To increase engine speed,
move up.
To decrease engine speed,
move down.
13. Auxiliary outlet To operate work lights or
other 12V devices, plug into
outlet.
Outlet has power only when ignition
switch is on.
14. Ignition switch To start engine, insert key and
turn clockwise.
To stop engine, turn key
counterclockwise.
