Tie Down

Points

Tiedown points are identified by tiedown decals. Securing to trailer at other

points is unsafe and can damage machinery.

Procedure

Loop a transport chain around each tie down

point. See chart below for correct distances

between tiedown ends. Make sure tiedowns are

tight before transporting.

NOTICE:

• Wrenches can open after engine shutdown. Ensure that any pipe in wrenches is attached to spindle

and downhole tools are removed from the pipe before transport.

• Use Grade 7-3/8” (18.7 cm) transport chain to secure drilling unit.

Distance Measurement

A greater than 18”

B less than 50”

C greater than 10”
