Check Saver Sub
Check saver sub and replace as needed. See your
Ditch Witch dealer for replacement parts.
To replace:
1. Remove eight bolts that attach saver sub to
spindle. Do not remove indexing dowels from
spindle.
2. Remove and replace o-ring, if necessary.
Install in reverse order and torque eight bolts in a
cross pattern to 47 ft•lb (64 N•m). Apply Loctite
®
242 to bolts before installation.
