The 250R receiver has three available mode options.
Mode Description Notes
Power Allows receiver to trace live
power lines.
IMPORTANT: Current must be
flowing through the line.
Radio Allows receiver to trace lines
that pick up and radiate very
low frequency (VLF) radio
waves.
Transmitter Allows receiver to trace lines
that have had a 33 kHz signal
placed on them by a
transmitter.
Beacon (Sonde) Allows receiver to trace 33
kHz beacon (sonde) signals.
