Getting started:
Plug the power cable into the back of the unit
and then into the mains supply.
To switch the speaker on, press the POWER
switch at the back of the unit.
The indicator on the front of your AirZone
Series 3 will turn purple and then red. This
will mean that the speaker is ready for set-up.
Set-up:
To stream music wirelessly to the AirZone
Series 3, the unit first needs to be registered
to your wireless home network.
There are several ways to register your
AirZone Series 3 to your wireless home
network.
Using an iPod / iPhone / iPad:
Make sure that your iPod / iPhone / iPad is
connected to the wireless network to which
you want to connect your AirZone Series 3.
Connect your iPod / iPhone / iPad to your
AirZone Series 3 via the USB port at the back
of the speaker using the cable supplied with
your iPod / iPhone / iPad.
Press and release the PAIR button at the rear
of your AirZone Series 3.
On your iPod / iPhone / iPad there will be a
message on the display asking if you want to
share the network details currently used by
your iPod / iPhone / iPad with your AirZone
Series 3.
Click to allow. The indicator at the front of your
AirZone Series 3 will change colour from red
to blue and give a confirmation tone to confirm
successful pairing. This may take a little time
depending on the strength of the wireless
connection.
Note: The above method of pairing will only
work with devices using iOS5.0 and above. If
your iPod / iPhone / iPad uses an earlier version
of iOS, then please use the method described
below (Using a Mac or PC) to register your
AirZone Series 3 to your wireless home network.
Using a Mac or PC:
Make sure there are no devices connected to
your AirZone Series 3.
Press and release the PAIR button at the rear
of your AirZone Series 3.
