Note: Use these steps to convert your TV1 remote to
UHF with a DISH 322 receiver. Do not do these steps
if you are using the 4.4 remote with the blue 2 key.
If you set up your DISH 322 to operate the
side using UHF Pro and you have a second
TV connected to your DISH 322 receiver, the
two UHF Pro remotes for this receiver will interfere
with each other when operated at the same time. This
may prevent the remotes from operating the receiver
momentarily. If you want to avoid this possible conict,
program a different address into one of the remotes.
For more information see Changing the Remote and
Receiver Address on page 25.
To convert the TV1 4.4 remote to UHF, complete the
following steps. If these steps are not completed, your
TV2 remote control will control the side of your
receiver.
Using an already congured TV1 remote control,
select MENU-System Setup-Installation-TV1
UHF Pro Setup to open the TV1 UHF Pro Setup
screen.
Select Enable and select Done.
Press the SYS INFO button on the remote control
to open the System Info screen.
Move the highlight to the address for the Primary
Remote Address as shown below. This is
important—if you do not do this, your remote
changes the receiver’s Secondary Remote
Address and causes your TV1 remote control to
control the side of your receiver.
Using the UHF Pro remote control that you want
to control TV1, ip the key on the bottom of the
remote to the green 1 UHF Pro key.
Continue with Step 5 of Making 4.4 UHF Remote
Work with Receiver on page 5.
