4.3 Drying the wet Truman Cell® (drying mode)

As soon as the appliance controller detects that the Truman Cell® is still wet, it switches off the power supply to the

Truman Cell

®. The Truman Cell® cleaning indicator (" ") flashes quickly (Fig. 16).

1. Press the and hold the button on the appliance.

- The LEDs for the button on the appliance light up 3

times.

- The appliance reduces its speed.

-The Truman Cell

® cleaning indicator (" ") now flashes

slowly.

- The appliance now runs in drying mode for approximately 60

minutes. At the end of this period of approximately 60 min-

utes, the appliance controller attempts to restore the power

supply to the Truman Cell

®.

-If the Truman Cell

® is now sufficiently dry, the appliance

switches to normal mode with a normal speed and the Tru-

man Cell

® cleaning indicator (" ") goes out.

-If the Truman Cell

® is still too wet, a new drying mode be-

gins. This cycle runs up to 3 times.

TRUMAN CELL

NOTE:

If, at the end of the 3rd drying cycle, the appliance controller still cannot establish the power supply, the appli-

ance switches to normal mode with a normal speed nevertheless. However, the Truman Cell

® cleaning indicator

(" ") then continually flashes quickly. The Truman Cell

® will then probably have to be cleaned again as soiling

is still causing short circuits. However, it is also possible that the Truman Cell

® is damaged and will need to be

replaced.
