3 Operation
5. Set the nozzle switch to "carpet" or "hard floor"
(Fig. 10/1) according to the floor to be cleaned:
- hard floor (Fig. 10/a)
Laminate, tiles, PVC, etc.
- Carpet (Fig. 10/b)
Short- and deep-pile carpets, rugs, etc.
6. When working with the cylinder vacuum cleaner, pull if
after you like a sleigh. Follow the respective
recommendations of the flooring manufacturers.
3.2 Adjusting the suction
power
You can adjust the suction power to suit the type of floor
being cleaned.
1. Slide the suction-power control to adjust the suction
power (Fig. 11):
- low suction power, e.g. for textiles or upholstered
furniture
- high suction power, e.g. for deep-pile carpets
(low ....... ....... high)

NOTE:
With the bypass vent (Fig. 12) you can quickly reduce
suction power if less suction is needed, e.g. to release
objects accidentally sucked in.
