1 Sicherheitshinweise 1.1 1 zur Bedienungsanleitung Sicherheitshinweise Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung vollständig durch, bevor Sie mit dem Gerät arbeiten. Bewahren Sie die Anleitung gut auf. Falls Sie das Gerät an Dritte weitergeben, geben Sie die Bedienungsanleitung mit. Die Nichtbeachtung dieser Anleitung kann zu schweren Verletzungen oder Schäden am Gerät führen. Für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieser Bedienungsanleitung entstehen, übernehmen wir keine Haftung.
1.3 zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung Der Bodenstaubsauger darf nur im Haushalt eingesetzt werden. Er ist für eine gewerbliche Nutzung nicht geeignet. Verwenden Sie den Bodenstaubsauger ausschließlich für das Reinigen von trockenen, normal verschmutzten Böden. Wenn Sie die Möbelbürste montiert haben, können Sie das Gerät ebenso zum Saugen von Möbeln einsetzen. Bei aufgesetzter Polsterdüse können Sie auch Polster saugen. Jede weitere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und ist untersagt.
1 Sicherheitshinweise 1.4 zur Stromversorgung Das Gerät wird mit elektrischem Strom betrieben, dabei besteht grundsätzlich die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags. Achten Sie daher besonders auf Folgendes: - Fassen Sie den Stecker nie mit nassen Händen an. - Wenn Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose herausziehen wollen, ziehen Sie immer direkt am Stecker. Ziehen Sie niemals am Stromkabel, es könnte reißen.
2.1 2 Auspacken Auspacken und Montieren 1. Packen Sie das Gerät und alle Zubehörteile aus. 2. Überprüfen Sie den Inhalt auf Vollständigkeit und Unversehrtheit. Informationen zum Lieferumfang ZSeite 4, „Übersicht über Ihren Galileo“. ACHTUNG: Transportieren/versenden Sie das Gerät grundsätzlich in der Originalverpackung, damit es keinen Schaden nimmt. Heben Sie dazu die Verpackung auf. Entsorgen Sie dagegen nicht mehr benötigtes Verpackungsmaterial gemäß den in Ihrem Land geltenden Vorschriften.

Anderenfalls kann das Gerät anlaufen und Körperteile, Haare oder Kleidungsstücke können eingezogen werden. 1. Stecken Sie den Saugschlauchadapter in die Aufnahmeöffnung des Bodenstaubsaugers (Abb. 2), bis die Verriegelung hör- und spürbar einrastet. 3 2. Stecken Sie den Handgriff in das obere Ende des Teleskoprohrs (Abb.
4 4. Stecken Sie die Bodendüse auf das untere Ende des Teleskoprohrs (Abb. 4), bis der Klickverschluss der Bodendüse hör- und spürbar einrastet. HINWEIS: Eventuell ist es erforderlich, beim Zusammenstecken die beiden Teile etwas gegeneinander zu drehen, bis der Klickverschluss hör- und spürbar einrastet. 5. Prüfen Sie durch leichtes Auseinanderziehen, ob Teleskoprohr und Bodendüse sicher miteinander verbunden sind.
2 Auspacken und Montieren 2.3 Weitere Düsen je nach Untergrund auswählen Sie können den Funktionsumfang Ihres Bodenstaubsaugers mit weiteren Düsen wie folgt erweitern: Als Zubehör ist die 3in1-Kombidüse (Abb. 6/1) im Lieferumfang enthalten. Sie können diese verwenden als: 6 1 Polsterdüse (Abb. 7/1): Benutzen Sie diese zum Reinigen von weichen, kratzfesten Oberflächen (z. B. Polstermöbeln). 7 Möbelbürste (Abb.
9 Optional (d. h. je nach Modell und Ausführung im Lieferumfang) sind weiterhin erhältlich: Parkettbürste (Abb. 9): Diese dient zum Absaugen besonders empfindlicher Oberflächen (z. B. Parkett, Laminat) mithilfe ihrer langen, weichen Borsten. Turbobürste (Abb. 10): Diese dient zum Saugen unempfindlicher Teppiche, Läufer, Fußmatten und dergleichen. 10 Mini-Turbobürste (Abb. 11): Diese dient zum Saugen unempfindlicher Polster, Läufer, Fußmatten und dergleichen.
2 Auspacken und Montieren 2.4 12 Gewählte Düse anbringen Zum Anbringen der Düsen gehen Sie wie folgt vor: WARNUNG: Verletzungsgefahr! Montieren Sie Düsen nur, wenn der Stecker aus der Steckdose gezogen ist. Anderenfalls kann das Gerät anlaufen und Körperteile, Haare oder Kleidungsstücke können eingezogen werden. ACHTUNG: Setzen Sie nur unbeschädigte Düsen ein. Beschädigte Düsen können Gegenstände und Oberflächen zerkratzen oder beschädigen.
3 Bedienung Staubsaugen Bedienung 14 DE 3.1 3 WARNUNG: Verletzungsgefahr! Ein beschädigtes Gerät darf nicht verwendet werden. Prüfen Sie den Bodenstaubsauger und das Stromkabel vor jeder Benutzung. ACHTUNG: 1 15 Verwenden Sie den Bodenstaubsauger nur, wenn alle Filter intakt, trocken und korrekt eingesetzt sind. Stellen Sie sicher, dass keine Öffnungen verstopft sind. Anderenfalls kann der Staubsauger beschädigt werden. 2 1 2 1. Stecken Sie die gewünschte Düse auf, ZKapitel 2.
3 Bedienung HINWEIS: Ihr Staubsauger besitzt eine integrierte Schutzfunktion, die anspricht, bevor das Gerät überhitzen kann (z. B. aufgrund verstopfter Saugwege oder eines überfüllten Staubfilterbeutels). Falls diese Schutzfunktion anspricht, wird die Saugleistung stark abgesenkt. Schalten Sie das Gerät daraufhin aus, ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose und beseitigen Sie die Ursache der Überhitzung. Sie können den gereinigten und vollständig montierten Staubsauger danach wieder einschalten. 3.
3.4 Transportieren und Aufbewahren Zum Transport können Sie den Bodenstaubsauger am Transportgriff (Abb. 21) tragen. 21 1 22 Zum Abstellen oder bei Arbeitspausen können Sie den Park-/Verstauhaken der Bodendüse in die Parkhalterung einhängen (Abb. 22). Es empfiehlt sich, vorher das Teleskoprohr einzufahren. WARNUNG: Verletzungsgefahr! Schalten Sie das Gerät in Arbeitspausen aus und beachten Sie die Hinweise unter ZKapitel 3.3, „Ausschalten und Stromkabel aufrollen“.
4 Wartung 4.1 Staubfilterbeutel wechseln 4 Wartung 24 1 Wechseln Sie den Staubfilterbeutel - wenn die LED-Anzeige (Abb. 24/1) rot leuchtet, - vor längerer Lagerung oder - bevor Sie das Gerät versenden. Wechseln Sie den Staubfilterbeutel aus hygienischen Gründen zudem spätestens alle 3 Monate. ACHTUNG: Bevor Sie den Staubfilterbeutel wechseln, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und beachten Sie die Hinweise unter ZKapitel 3.3, „Ausschalten und Stromkabel aufrollen“.
28 4. Ziehen Sie den vollen Staubfilterbeutel vorsichtig aus dem Staubbeutelhalter (Abb. 28). HINWEIS: Den Staubfilterbeutel können Sie im normalen Hausmüll entsorgen, sofern er keinen für den Hausmüll verbotenen Schmutz enthält. 5. Kontrollieren/Reinigen Sie bei dieser Gelegenheit sogleich den Motorschutzfilter (ZKapitel 4.2, „Motorschutzfilter reinigen/wechseln“). 29 6. Entfernen Sie Staubrückstände, die sich eventuell im Staubraum befinden. 7.
4 Wartung 4.2 Motorschutzfilter reinigen/wechseln Reinigen Sie den Motorschutzfilter bei jedem Staubfilterbeutelwechsel, spätestens aber alle 3 Monate. Wechseln Sie den Motorschutzfilter nach jedem Öffnen eines neuen Staubfilterbeutelpaketes, da grundsätzlich ein neuer Motorschutzfilter darin enthalten ist. Wechseln Sie den Motorschutzfilter spätestens aber alle 6 Monate. 1. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und entnehmen Sie den Staubfilterbeutel, wie unter ZKapitel 4.
4.3 Hygiene-Ausblasfilter reinigen/wechseln Reinigen Sie den Hygiene-Ausblasfilter jedes Mal, wenn Sie den Motorschutzfilter reinigen. Wechseln Sie den Hygiene-Ausblasfilter, sobald er verformt oder beschädigt ist. 36 1. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, ZKapitel 3.3, „Ausschalten und Stromkabel aufrollen“. 2. Entriegeln Sie die Ausblasfilter-Abdeckung (Abb. 36) und entnehmen Sie diese. 37 3.
4 Wartung 40 24 h 7. Lassen Sie die Filter nach der Reinigung ca. 24 Stunden bei Raumtemperatur trocknen. ACHTUNG: Setzen Sie ihn erst wieder ein, wenn er vollkommen trocken ist. 8. Sollte einer der Filter beschädigt oder verformt sein, ersetzen Sie ihn (Bestellinformationen ZKapitel 6.1, „Zubehör- und Ersatzteilliste“). 41 9. Setzen Sie den neuen/gereinigten und vollkommen trockenen Ausblasfilter zurück in seine Konsole (Abb. 41). 42 10. Setzen Sie die Ausblasfilter-Abdeckung zuerst hinten an. 11.
5 Problembehebung Bevor Sie uns kontaktieren, prüfen Sie anhand der folgenden Tabelle, ob Sie das Problem selbst beseitigen können. Problembehebung WARNUNG: Verletzungsgefahr! 1 Safety instructions 1.1 1 Concerning the Operating Manual Safety instructions Read this operating manual completely before working with the appliance. Keep the operating manual in a safe place. Include the operating manual if you pass the appliance on to someone else. Non-compliance with these instructions can lead to serious injuries or damage to the appliance. 1 Safety instructions Re: Appropriate use The cylinder vacuum cleaner is intended for home use only. It is not suitable for commercial use. Use the cylinder vacuum cleaner only for cleaning dry, normally soiled floors. With the furniture brush attached, you may also use the appliance for vacuuming furniture surfaces. When the upholstery nozzle is in place, upholstery can also be vacuumed. Any other use is considered inappropriate and is prohibited.

By lightly pulling apart, check whether telescopic tube and floor nozzle are securely connected. NOTE: If you want to disconnect the two elements, you must press the release catch on the telescopic tube (Fig. 4/ magnifying glass) and then pull the handle out of the floor nozzle. 5 6.

You can use this as: 6 1 Upholstery nozzle (Fig. 7/1): Use this to clean soft, scratch-resistant surfaces (e.g. upholstered furniture). 7 Furniture brush (Fig.

ATTENTION: 11 Our (mini) turbo brush can only be used to vacuum surfaces that are not sensitive.

Only attach the nozzles if the appliance is not connected to the power supply. Otherwise the machine might start up and parts of your body, hair or pieces of clothing might be sucked in. ATTENTION: Use only intact nozzles. Defective nozzles may scratch or damage surfaces and objects.
3 Operation 3.1 3 Vacuum cleaning Operation 14 WARNING: ATTENTION: 1 15 Only use the cylinder vacuum cleaner when all filters are intact, dry and correctly fitted. Make sure that no openings are clogged. Otherwise the vacuum cleaner might be damaged. 2 1 2 1. Attach the desired nozzle, ZChapter 2.2, ‘Assembly’ or ZChapter 2.4, ‘Fitting on the selected nozzle’. 2. Pull out the power cord until the yellow marking is visible (Fig. 14/1).
3 Operation NOTE: Your vacuum cleaner has an integrated protection function that trips before the appliance can overheat (e. g. due to blocked suction paths or an overfilled dust filter bag). If this protective function trips, the suction power will be strongly reduced. If this occurs, switch off the device, unplug the plug from the socket and eliminate the cause of overheating. You can then turn the clean, fully-assembled vacuum cleaner back on. 3.
3 Operation 3.4 Transport and storage To transport the cylinder vacuum cleaner, you can carry it by the carrying-handle (Fig. 21). 21 GB 1 22 To park it or when interrupting work you can hook the parking/storage hook onto the parking bracket (Fig. 22). It is recommended to first retract the telescopic tube. WARNING: Danger of injury! Switch off the appliance when not working with it and observe the notices under ZChapter 3.3, ‘Switching off the appliance and retracting the power cord’.
4 Maintenance 4.1 Changing the dust filter bag 4 Maintenance 24 1 Change the dust filter bag - when the LED display (Fig. 24/1) lights up red, - before prolonged storage or - before you send in the appliance. For hygienic reasons, change the dust filter bag at least once every three months. ATTENTION: When leaving your working-area, switch off the appliance and mind the notices at ZChapter 3.3, ‘Switching off the appliance and retracting the power cord’.
4 Maintenance 28 4. Carefully pull the full dust filter bag carefully out of the dust bag holder (Fig. 28/A). NOTE: 5. Take this opportunity to check the motor protection filter as well (ZChapter 4.2, ‘Cleaning / changing the motor protection filter’). 29 6. Remove any dust that may have collected in the dust compartment. 7. Slide the new dust filter bag into the filter bag holder (Fig. 29/A) until it rests precisely on the edge of the dust bag holder. 30 8.
4 Maintenance 4.2 Cleaning / changing the motor protection filter Clean the motor protection filter at every filter bag change, but at the latest every 3 months. Change the motor protection filter each time you open a new package of dust filter bags, as a new motor protection filter is always included in the package. However change the motor protection filter at the latest every 6 months. 1. Switch off the appliance and remove the dust filter bag as described in ZChapter 4.
4 Maintenance 4.3 Cleaning / changing the exhaust filter Clean the exhaust filter each time you clean the motor protection filter. 36 1. Switch off the appliance and unplug the plug from the mains socket, ZChapter 3.3, ‘Switching off the appliance and retracting the power cord’. 2. Unlock the exhaust filter cover (Fig. 36) and remove it. 37 3. Take the hygienic exhaust filter out of its bracket and check it for fouling (Fig. 37). 38 4.

2 Déballage et montage 9 En option (soit en fonction du modèle et du type d'appareil fourni à la livraison), il y a de plus les pièces suivantes : Brosse pour parquets (Ill. 9) : Elle convient parfaitement aux surfaces qu'il faut ménager (comme par ex. les parquets ou les sols stratifiés) grâce à ses poils longs et doux. 10 Turbobrosse (Ill. 10) : sert au nettoyage de revêtements de sols peu sensibles comme des tapis, des tapis d'escaliers, des moquettes ou des revêtements similaires.

Ne montez les suceurs que lorsque la fiche est retirée de la prise. L'appareil peut sinon se mettre en marche et des cheveux, des parties du corps ou des pièces de vêtements pourraient êtres aspirés.
3 Emploi 3.1 3 Utilisation de l'aspirateur Emploi 14 AVERTISSEMENT: Risque de blessures ! N'utilisez jamais un appareil qui est endommagé. Avant tout emploi, vérifiez l'aspirateur et le cordon d'alimentation. ATTENTION: 1 15 N'utilisez l'aspirateur que lorsque tous les filtres sont en parfait état, secs et bien insérés. 3 Emploi REMARQUE: Votre aspirateur possède une fonction de protection intégrée qui se déclenche avant que l'appareil ne puisse surchauffer (par exemple en raison de canaux d'aspiration obturés ou d'un remplissage excessif du sac-filtre à poussière). Au cas où cette protection de protection se déclenche, la puissance d'aspiration se réduit notablement. Éteignez alors l'appareil, débranchez-le et éliminez la cause de la surchauffe.

Échangez le filtre de protection du moteur lors de chaque ouverture d'un paquet de sacs-filtre à poussière, car chaque paquet contient toujours un nouveau filtre de protection du moteur. 5 Élimination des anomalies Avant de nous contacter, veuillez vérifier, en vous aidant du tableau ci-dessous, si vous ne pouvez pas remédier vous-même à l'anomalie.
