CHAPTER 4: Operation
Remote Operation
The M.1k2 may be controlled via an ethernet connection or serial
data input.
Ethernet RJ45 socket
Connection for ethernet control
Requires a standard CAT5 cable
for connection with ethernet
network (100 mbit/s).
USB USB socket
USB connection for virtual serial port.
Requires a standard USB cable (Type B).
To use the USB port as virtual serial port the D.O.TEC USB driver

(Windows 7, Vista, XP) has to be installed on the computer rst.
