4.2.1.1 Setting Up the System
The system configuration parameters consist of the SRX size and model number. The
configuration settings are set at the factory and should not be changed unless directed by
Quintech. Altering the configuration can prevent the SRX from operating correctly.

Matrix Size
The Matrix Size screen allows the specified size of the SRX to be changed. Enter a number
between 8 and 128 to indicate the number of SRX input (or output) ports. Press F1 to enter the
change. To return to the previous menu without making any changes, press F4. If the MCP is
being used as a standalone switch with no expansion modules, this parameter is set to the number
of input ports on the MCP.
