SET UP GUIDE
NOTE: Theunit will not operate correctlyunlessit is fully charged.When
charging the Diodor LED Solar Floodlight, the chargeLEDshouldflash
RED. If LED is flashing orange, this indicates a battery fault or the
battery may not be connecetd correctly. Remove the battery, clean the
contactswith a non-metalliccloth and carefullyslidethebattery backon.
1) Unpackand checkthe contentsin the box, andcheckto makesureyou
havethecorrecttools for installaiton. (Seepage9-10for kit contents).
2) Removelithium batteryfrom the packaging,takingcarewhenhandlni g.
Carefully slidelithiumbatteryontothebackof thelight fitting,andtheunit
is nowreadyto charge.
3) To charge the unit, plug the solarpanelandlight fitting together. Once
exposedto sunlight,theredchargeLEDshouldflashto indicatetheunit is
nowcharging.
4) We suggest you charge the battery beforeinstallation, in direct sunlight
for at least5 hours. Keepout of reachof children.Oncefully charged
removethebattery(placesomewheer safe) anddisconnectthesolarpanel.
5) Finda suitable location to install your new Diodor LED Solar light
fitting,(Seepage7 for choosinga location).
6) Mount the solarpanelandlight fitting to thewalleitherwith wallbrackets,
or ā€˜U’ bracketsto 50mmpipe,takinginto accountthelengthof thecables.
7) Align the solarpanelfacingthe sun at around10 o’clock for optimum
charging and thentightenthesolarpanelto thebracketaccordingly.
8) Carefullyslidethebatteryonto thebackof thelight fitting andensureit is
fully lockedin place.At this point do not plug the solar panelto the light
fitting. Pleasetakecarenot to touchthemetal connectionson thebottom
thebattery.
