The renewable cylinder (3.1) is
loaded by either the solid fuel
boiler or by additional heat gen-
erators (e.g. solar , see Solar
thermal energy manual). The
buffer volume must be dimen-
sioned according to the informa-
tion from the solid fuel boiler
manufacturer.
With a sufficiently high tempera-
ture level in the renewable cylin-
der the heat pump is blocked
and the energy from the cylinder
is used for heating requests, do-
mestic hot water requirements
and swimming pool needs.

A separating plate integrated
into the combo tank in combina-
tion with a 3-way valve prevents
mixing losses between the heat-
ing and the domestic hot water
zones. With external charging,
heat riser pipes distribute the ex-
ternal energy to the supplemen-
tary heating system and the do-
mestic hot water preparation on
the basis of the temperature.
A flange connection enables the
solarheat exchanger RWT 750
to be installed.
The heating circuit pump M15
supplies the flow around the re-
turn sensor and prevents the
heat pump from switching on
when the system temperatures
are too high.
