Enclosure Design: Install rebox on a solid at surface. Clearance for air circulation beneath the replace insert is pro-
vided by three (3) rubber feet. Ensure that there is at least 1/2” of clearance from any set of louvers on the back at the sides.
Keep combustibles away from the unit using the framing dimensions.
Vented Air: The enclosure MUST NOT block the front/bottom edge or the upper front of the rebox (see diagrams below).
Air is taken in from the lower vents and returned from the upper vents. The rebox may overheat if any of these vents are
obstructed.
WARNING: The heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. The trim around the
heater outlet becomes hot during heater operation. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, pa-
pers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the unit.
Power cord: The power exits the rear/right side of the rebox. Sufcient clearance must be provided, as well as an exit
hole to access an outlet.
WARNING: Ensure the power cord is not installed so that it is pinched or against a sharp edge. Also ensure the power
cord is stored or secured to avoid tripping or snagging to reduce the risk of re, electric shock or injury to persons.
