8. Remove the foam tubes that isolate the extrusion head from
the frame (see Figure 3).

9. After unpacking, inspect the printer and report any shipping
damage to the carrier.
CAUTION
Remove the foam tubes that isolate the
extrusion head from the frame (see
Figure 3). The printer will be damaged if
powered on with the foam tubes in place.
CAUTION
Be careful not to damage the rod sensors
when removing the foam tubes (see
Figure 3).
