5. Click Preview button.
6. Adjust the window size to be scanned.
7. Click Scan button.
7.3 Using the Shared Scanner in Linux
7.3.1 Using XSane in Redhat Linux
1. Download SANE-Backends from
http://www.sane-project.org.
2. Download and install SANE-frontends: XSane (UNIX binary) from
http://www.xsane.org.
3. Edit \etc\sane.d\net.conf and put the IP address of the MFP server where the
scanner is connected into one line, e.g:
192.168.1.100.
4. To start the application, select Main Menu button (on the Panel)->
Applications->Grphics -> Scanning.
5. Perform scan function.
