Chapter 1 Hardware Installation： (1)Follow the steps as below to install 3.5”hard disk (for with power switch type) 1.

Close the case as below view: Chapter 2 Software Installation： Supported OS Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows 98SE (Windows XP ,Win2000 and Windows ME works without driver) and Mac 10.x . The drivers supplied with this distribution are for Win98SE only. Windows XP and Windows ME and windows 2000 You do not need to install any driver if your computer’s O.S is Windows XP or Windows ME & Win2000 .
Windows 98SE INSTALLATION *** Please plug-in HDD box to usb port,windows will search win98 driver,and click “choose setup componment “then click “next” to continue.
*** Windows will ask you to restart your pc,please click “Final” and restart PC. *** Please plug-in the usb hard disk enclosure to usb port of or hub with usb cable & power adapter on your PC. *** Please entry the “system properties”the select “ devices Manager”then click ” disk drivers”and double click “usb2.
*** Please click “settings” *** Please click “settings”then select “Removable”and click “ok” - Page 14 -
*** Windows will ask you to restart PC ,please click “yes” *** “My computer”will appear a new “Remove Disk”icon then please format firstly and double click start to use.
Mac OS If your MAC O.S is 10.2 or above , you don’t need to install any driver. Please just plug the HDD BOX into the USB port , then Mac pc will auto detect & appear a new “ untitled” disk , you can start to format and use the USB2.0 3.5” HDD disk box.
