Storing a Loop
Whenever you record a loop, add overdubs to a loop, or change loop attributes (i.e.
Playback Type, Rhythm Type, Tempo, or Time Signature) the STORE button LED will
light, indicating that changes have been made which require storing if you wish to
retain them. If not stored, these changes will be lost if you either select a different
loop memory location or turn off the power to the JamMan Solo XT.
Storing also allows you store loop attribute changes made to empty loop memory
locations. This allows you to create “loop templates” by making changes to Playback
Type, Rhythm Type, Tempo, or Time Signature and then storing the changes to memory
for later recall and use.
To store a new loop, overdub, or loop attribute change:
1. Record a new loop, overdub, or load
the desired loop memory location
using the <UP/DOWN> buttons
and make the desired loop attribute
change.
2. Press the <STORE> button twice to
store the new recording, overdub, or
loop attribute change to memory.
NOTE: If dF appears in the display, this indicates the internal or external memory is full. Loops
should be archived using the JamManager XT librarian and then deleted from the JamMan Solo XT
to free up memory.
