4.3 Installing the DECarray Cabinet in a Single-System Conﬁguration

4.3.2 Completing the System Conﬁguration Sheet

Fill out the system conﬁguration sheet. Blank conﬁguration worksheets are

provided in Appendix E of this manual.

Note

Do not attempt to ﬁll out and place the labels until you have completed

the system conﬁguration sheet.

The information from the system conﬁguration sheet is used to ﬁll out the

labels correctly for all DSSI cables, enclosure OCPs, and magazine tape ISEs.

Refer to the inside cover of the SF Family Label Booklet for instructions on

ﬁlling out the labels.

4.3.3 Labeling the Cables

This section describes how to correctly label the cables for the system, the

DECarray cabinet, and the storage enclosures and magazine tape ISEs.

At this point, all steps in the previous sections must be complete.

Digital Services or trained installers must perform the steps that follow.
