Installing a DECarray Cabinet
4.1 Configuration Overview
4.1.3 Stripeset Configurations
A stripeset configuration is one where the DSSI ISEs are configured to act
as a single, virtual disk with increased I/O performance. In a stripeset
configuration, storage enclosures are configured in split-bus mode. One or both
tape ISEs must be connected to a separate DSSI adapter port. Tables 4–7 and
4–8 list the building blocks for each stripeset configuration.
