9. Perform Setup (at least System, Printer, and Network Setup) to reconfigure the printer with
the updated software.
The software update is a large, downloadable file. You can also update the system software:
• from the NetWare PCONSOLE utility, if you are using an IPX (Novell) network
• from the Colorwriter LSR Downloader
In either case, first enable the direct connection. After the file has been downloaded, cycle
power to the printer and complete steps 8 and 9.
NOTE:
Printers configured with less than 32MB memory do not support the
Colorwriter LSR Downloader.
