5-16 Verifying the TCP/IP connection
lprm -Pprinter 123
The lprm command reports the names of any files it removes.

On a UNIX system running Digital UNIX, use the cancel command to remove jobs
from the queue.
Type:
cancel <job ID>
For example, to remove a job whose ID is printer-123 from the print queue of
your Colorwriter, type:
cancel printer-123
To find out the job ID, use the lpstat command. For information on the lpstat
command, see Chapter 5 of the User Guide.
Once lpd print jobs are spooled to the Colorwriter hard disk, you have some
options for monitoring print jobs.
