To install the RAM card, first make sure the printer is turned off and
follow these steps:
1. Open the upper door and
right side cover of the printer.
You will see a small cover on
the metal plate. Remove the
fastening screw and the cover.
You can now see three
connectors (upper two ivory
ones for RAM cards).
2. Orient the RAM card. Hold
the card with the cut corner
down and facing left and

There are two memory expansion slots available. The expansion card can
have so called SIMMs (up to two times 32 MB). Together with the
controller's board fixed memory of 3MB, these expansion options offer a
range of RAM from 3 (no SIMM installed) to 67 MB (both SIMM slots
equipped with 32 MB).
Notice:
The DIGITAL Laser Printer LN15P is equipped with one 8 MB SIMM
installed. The DIGITAL Laser Printer LN15N-A and LN15N-B are
both equipped with two 8 MB SIMMs installed.
