2.5. INSTALLING CONSUMABLES
You must install the toner cartridge, load the paper cassette(s), connect the power
cord and print a test page before you should install any option.

Remove the Toner Cartridge from its bag.

Distribute the toner in the cartridge by
moving it back and forth in a horizontal
motion several times.

Remove the plastic seals from the toner
cartridge. Gently pull off the seals, being
careful not to spill toner. Handle the
seals carefully to avoid staining your
hands or clothes.

Open the upper door. Lift the
milled portions at the front left and
right of the upper door to open it.

Slide both projecting guides of
the Toner Cartridge into the
grooves of the Print Unit. The
Print Unit is already installed
during production and contains
the optical sensitive drum.
