Testing Your Printer

The correct functioning of your printer can be checked using the TEST/HEX-DUMP Function of

Set-Up mode.

Note:

To perform these tests paper must be already loaded in the printer. See Chapter 3

"Handling Continuous Forms".

You access to the TEST/HEX-DUMP Function as follows:

1. Press the

Set-Up

button.

MACROS is displayed.

2. Press the button three times.

TEST/HEX-DUMP is displayed.

3. Press the button.

4. Pressing the or the button you can choose, which test you want to perform:

Sub-option Definition

Self-Test

The printer prints the self test.

HEX-DUMP MODE

This Option allows you to enable or disable the Hex-Dump

mode.

SetUp Card init.

This Value runs the initialization of the optional Set-Up card, if

it is inserted within the related slot.
