Setting the User Access Authorization
The access to the printer Configuration can be protected in different ways.
The different values of the USER ACCESS Function affect both access to Set-Up mode and use
of the operator panel. The following table shows the setting effects.
User Access Value Set-Up Mode Operator Panel
All Functions
You can access to all Set-Up items. You can use all the operator panel
buttons.
Macros
You can only access the MACROS
and SAVE Functions.
You can use all the operator panel
buttons.
Test/Hex-Dump
You can only access the
TEST/HEX-DUMP Option.
You can use all the operator panel
buttons.
Minimum
No access to the Set-Up items is
possible. When pressing the Set-Up
button, the display shows
Press Park.
You can only use the
Park
,
LF
,
FF/Load
and
Pause
buttons.
