Self-Tests
Power-on Self-Test (POST)
The ISE automatically performs a self-test whenever power is
applied. This power-on self-test (POST) detects most faults that
occur in the ISE.
Internal Tests and Calibrations
Periodic internal tests and calibrations are performed as a
normal part of the operation of the ISE. These tests are run
automatically on a periodic basis and cause the device to
appear active (although there may be no system activity at the
time). This is normal, and does not indicate a problem.
