Running communications Remote Loopback test
Remote Loopback tests the connection between the PC and Controller file. Follow the procedure below to
run the Remote Loopback test.
Step Action Graphic Result

From the “Configure” menu,
select “Remote Loopback…”
The communications echo
dialog box will appear.

Click on “SEND” to send signal
once. Click “SEND FOREVER”
to send signals continuously
until the connection Is made.

Click “Close”.
The status window will
read:
“Instrument Responded”,
or
“Instrument did not
respond” — Check
connections
