pattern or occur at random
Note any special conditions that may effect the system
such as:
• Is this a new application?
• Were any changes made on the host computer
(e.g., system software)?
• Has any service been performed on your printer recently?
• Did the application print properly prior to this problem?
Determine the severity of the problem. Use the following
categories to determine how the problem impacts printer
operation:
• Failure: Inability to produce a critical job.
• Error: Degradation of performance exists but system
operations can continue.
