Installing the Conversion Box

Stage 3 - Power on and Testing
Having successfully completed stages one and two, you can now power
on the box and the printer and run some tests to determine if all is well.
1. Apply power to the box by connecting the AC/DC adapter to the
mains power outlet. The mains socket outlet must be easily
accessible.
The On indicator on the conversion box should light.
2. Switch the printer ON, and wait the printer ready indication
3. Run Internal Tests
To verify the installation of the conversion box on the target printer is
successful, run the internal tests using the reset button. It will give you
its current configuration settings as well as the resident fonts list.

Fonts list printout Press the button twice in a row
Note: Running internal tests does not test the serial communication
between the host and the box. To be sure the complete
installation is correct, you need to send a job from the host.
