ESS (Controller) Mode
The ESS (Controller) Mode is the normal operating mode for the printer. In ESS (Controller)
Mode, the printer is on-line, under control of the printer controller (ESS Assembly), and ready to
generate prints.
ESS (Controller) Mode options
There are no options in ESS (Controller) Mode.
Entering ESS (Controller) Mode:
Switch on printer Main Power. If the printer detects no errors, it enters ESS (Controller) Mode.
The printer enters a warm–up state called the Power–On Sequence. The fuser comes up to
operating temperature and the Main Motor starts running. The LCD displays a

no problems, the LCD displays a
Ready To Print message.
