Maintenance
Perform the following maintenance when you repair the printer.
• Remove right cover: Clean the fan and the area around the exhaust.
• Remove the transportation chute assembly: Use a brush to clean the static
eliminator.
• Use a brush or dry cloth to clean the paper path and the paper rolls.
Do not change the engine factory defaults, such as laser density settings, unless a FRU
replacement requires an adjustment.
