A. PLUG THE TELEPHONE CABLE INTO THE
DECLASERFAX'S PSTN PORT.
The telephone cable connects the DEClaserFAX to the public
telephone network. One end of the lead has a clear RJ11-style
plug. The other end has a plug for connection to the wall
socket, either directly or using an adapter.
Plug the RJ11-style plug into the PSTN port of the modem, the
square 6-pin socket.
B. IF USING AN ADAPTER, PLUG THE OTHER END
OF THE CABLE INTO THE ADAPTER.
C. PLUG THE ADAPTER OR TELEPHONE CABLE
INTO THE WALL SOCKET.
!
WARNING:
Be sure to plug the telephone cable into
the modem before you connect the modem to the
telephone system. Once the cable has been
connected, it cannot be removed without the use of a
small screwdriver. This is deliberate and is intended
to prevent accidental shock from
Telecommunications Network Voltages (TNV).
