Installing a Fixed Disk Drive

SCSI ID Setting

Before proceeding, make sure the drive you are installing is set

to an available SCSI ID address. To set or change the SCSI

ID address on the drive you are installing, refer to the option

documentation.

Overview

Up to four ﬁxed disk drives can be installed in any of the four

drive positions shown in Figure 4–1. The numbers refer to the

preferred SCSI addresses for given drive positions.
