5. Web viewer
This chapter describes web viewer for monitoring video form the device through a PC in remote mode.

Enter IP address of the encoder in your
Internet browser. Please note that you
may have to open ports in your router
in order to access the encoder from a
separate network. Please contact your
network administrator for more
information.

Enter ID and password, and click one of
the buttons:
•
Viewer: view live images.
•
Setup: enter the encoder’s setup
menu remotely.
To view live video from the encoder, you will be prompted to download and install Java. Follow the next page’s
instructions to properly download and install the Java files.
