Version 2.8, August, 2011
Dat
a and Configuration Packets
Tells th
e AMBE-3000™ Vocoder Chip to enable or disable low-power mode. The AMBE-3000™ Vocoder Chip will go into a
mode, which conserves power, when no voice packets are being processed. By default, low power mode is disabled. After a
LOWPOWER packet is received, the chip uses the least power possible by entering standby mode whenever all of the
following is true:
the encoder is not running,
the decoder is not running,
a packet is not being received and a packet is not being transmitted.
