VideoFlyer : An LCD monitor combined with a ViewStream digital media player to create an all-in-one
digital signage system.
ViewStream : A digital media player - an opmized, highly reliable computer dedicated for playing digital
signage content 24/7.
Monitor : A basic LCD monitor that can be connected to any media player, computer or video source to
display images.
Open Frame: A VideoFlyer or Monitor without the enclosure, mounted as a kit onto a metal chassis for
integraon into a custom housing.
Integre: A pre-congured mounng system for display integrators, with all components, but not
including the LCD display.
Solid State: An ultra-reliable media player that has no moving parts, no fans or spinning hard disk drives
(uses compact ash memory).
Networked : A VideoFlyer or ViewStream product that is capable of having content updated remotely
through a network.
Stand-Alone: A VideoFlyer or ViewStream product that is updated manually via exchanging a ash card or
inserng a USB sck.
CMS : A content management system - a soware program used to update digital signage content
across a network.
DV-Studio : Digital View’s free playlist creaon & scheduling soware for programing VideoFlyers &
ViewStreams.
Interacvity: Any kind of external trigger that controls content playout - such as a touch screen, moon
sensor, buon or AMX system.
Synchronizaon: Linking mulple VideoFlyers or ViewStreams together so that their content playout is
controlled to create a video wall eect.
Data Logging: Measuring mes and dates of media content playout, so that compliance and vericaon
reports can be created.
DisplayMark: A Digital View device that monitors the display to ensure that the system is playing the content
correctly.
