4. System controls
PSU has two sets of main controls that allow the user to navigate in the menus
and change settings. All controls are context sensitive and may have different
functions based on menu status and rmware version.
4.1 Keyboard
Keyboard (1) has ve buttons: Up,
Down, Left, Right, and OK.
Up and Down buttons are generally
used to select input row either for but-
ton, slider or text input. Left and right
buttons are used for shortcut options
(context dependent) or selecting input
character position.
OK button is used to submit inserted
settings and to return to previous menu.
4.2 Knob
Rotary knob (2) is used for controlling current slider position or selecting input
character. Rotary knob also has a push button functionality which is used to
delete a selected character.
4.3 Status indicator
Status indicator (3) provides the following feedback signals about
the state of the PSU:
OFF - there is no power to the PSU.
GREEN - Master - PSU is on the top and controlling other PSUs in the stack.
AMBER - Slave - PSU is not on the top and is controlled by another PSU.
RED - There is an error, information about which is displayed on the screen of
the Master PSU.
GREEN or AMBER blinking - communication activity.
