DXCC Window
TRX-Manager searches for geographical information from the prefix of a station. This feature is
activated from the Display/DXCC info… (F7)sub menu or the button of the main toolbar.
The DXCC window :
displays distances to (from) the station and azimuth for a given prefix
remotes control a rotator
displays the status for the DXCC award
displays HF Propagation predictions

Please note when there is more than one DXCC country for one prefix, a combo box appears
and allows you to choose between the different possibilities. You only have to click one of the
items to obtain the right information.
CQ and ITU zones as well as Provinces are resolved and displayed in the status bar of the
program :
A word about the DXCC algorithm
TRX-Manager implements a Prefix database of all official ITU prefixes and, voluntarily, does not
support certain special callsign granted for DXPeditions or other events which would require
frequent updates and, finally, is a cause of errors. Thus, the program may propose several
choices when, for the same prefix, there can be more than one possible DXCC Country.
