10.1 Regular Maintenance and Troubleshooting
KeepyourAlarmControllerinoptimalconditionbyfollowingalltheinstructionsthatareincluded
withinthismanualand/ormarkedontheproduct.Itistheend-userand/orinstaller’sresponsibility
toensurethatthedisposaloftheusedbatteriesismadeaccordingtothewasterecoveryandrecyc-
lingregulationsapplicabletotheintendedmarket.
10.2 Cleaning and Maintenance
l Cleantheunitsbywipingwithadampclothonly.
l Donotwipethefrontcoverwithalcohol.
l Donotuseanywateroranyotherliquid.
l Donotuseabrasives,thinners,solventsoraerosolcleaners(spraypolish)thatmayenter
throughholesintheAlarmControllerandcausedamage.

Usethesystemtestdescribedin“TestingYourSystem”tocheckthebatterycondition.
Werecommend,however,thatthestandbybatteriesbereplacedevery3-5years.
