8.0 Viewing Troubles on the Integrated Keypad
Whenthesystemdetectsatroublecondition,theTrouble indicatorturnsonandthesystem
beepsonceevery10seconds.Tapthe[*]keytosilencethebeeps.
Note:ForULListedinstallations,youraccesscodeisrequiredtoviewsystemtroubles.
Toviewtroublesontheintegratedkeypad,dothefollowingsteps:
1. Whenthekeypadilluminates,tap[*][2].
2. Enteryouraccesscode,ifrequired.TheTroubleindicatorflashesifanaccesscodeis
required.
Thesystemindicatestop-leveltroublecodesbyilluminatingthecorrespondingnumbersonthe
keypad,andtheTroubleindicatorflashesoncewithapause,thenrepeats.
3. Taponeofthenumberstoseethenextlevelcode.Atthesecondlevel,theTroubleindic-
atorflashestwicewithapause,thenrepeats.
4. Repeatstep3togotothenextlevel.Thesystembeepsifthereisnothird-leveltrouble
condition.Atthislevel,theTroubleindicatorflashesthreetimeswithapause,then
repeats.
Ifthereismorethanonezoneintrouble,eachzonenumberwillflashinsequenceuntilyouexitthe
troublemenuorwhenthetimeexpires.Atthislevel,theTroubleindicatorflashesthreetimeswith
apause,thenrepeats.
5. Tap[#]toreturntothepreviousleveltroublecodeortoexitthetroublemenu.
