Replacing Batteries in Wireless Devices
1. Remove the cover of the device from its back plate. This creates a tamper
condition on the zone.
2. Refer to the battery installation instructions on the
Installation Sheet of each
component. Be sure to note the proper orientation of the batteries as you
install them.
3. When the fresh batteries are in place, re-attach the cover to the back plate.
The tamper is restored and the zone sends a battery trouble restoral signal
to the PC5132. The battery trouble is now clear and the device should
function normally.
NOTE: When batteries in one device need to be replaced, the batteries in all de-
vices may need to be replaced at the same time.
