•The space around the receiver should be clear
to allow for proper ventilation of the receiver.
•Do not cover the Receiver or place it on a unit
that emits heat
• Use a damp soft cloth to clean the casing.
•Do not remove the cover
• Do not allow the unit to be exposed to hot,
cold or humid conditions
• Never allow liquids, spray or other materials to
come into contact with the inside of the Receiver.
•Do not connect or disconnect cables when the
Receiver is plugged in.

Cable System Installation Marking
Note to CATV System Installer : This reminder is provided to call CATV system installer’ s
attention to Article 820-40 of the NEC that provides guidelines for proper grounding and, in
particular, specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the
building, as close to the point of cable entry as practical
Polarized Attachment plug Marking
Caution : To prevent electric shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot, fully insert.
