Configure the Motherboard BIOS
1. Restart the unit.
2. Enter the Intel Desktop Board BIOS setup utility by pressing the <F2> key
during system startup. If you are prompted for a password then enter
LENELDV. If this password does not work then you will have to reset the
motherboard (as directed in the Intel D845GBVL manual).
3. Take note of the BIOS version. It should be version
RG84510A.86A.0007.P02. (You will update the BIOS to this version from
within Windows 2000 later on if the BIOS is not at this version.) A help
section is built into the right hand side of all the screens.
4. Use the following procedure to ensure that all BIOS settings are at the
standard LDVR-3U settings:
a. Reset all the BIOS settings to their defaults by choosing Exit from the
main menu at the top, selecting Load Optimal Defaults and then
