Enable Set Filename allows you to set a name for the uploaded image files, if you select this, the
uploaded images will be named after the specific filename you set in the box below this.
Filename allows you to fill in the name of the uploaded image to a specific name you would like to
choose. This name is different from the alarm images that are uploaded; the alarm image names cannot
be changed.
The Upload Interval refers to the time between the current image and the next image that will be
uploaded.
Click Submit to save settings. Once you submit it you can click Test, which will show if the test succeeds.
You may receive the following errors if the FTP information is not correct:
Cannot connect to the server Make sure the FTP server is correct
Network Error There may be a connection issue, try connecting again or try a little later.
Server Error This would also be an issue with FTP server connectivity, double check to see if all the
FTP information is entered properly.
Incorrect user or password Make sure you are entering the correct credentials to log in.
Cannot access the folder Verify that the folder you specified is created correctly within the FTP.
Error in PASV Mode Check to see if your FTP server supports PASV.
Error in PORT Mode PASV mode should be selected if the camera is behind a NAT.
Cannot upload files Verify that your account is authorized on the FTP server.
Also be sure to check your FTP parameters. The format of the image filename will usually be something
similar to “00606E8C1930(user)_0_20100728114350_25.jpg”
Make sure your FTP can support this type of file name.
